How To Get MLM Leads

Need leads for your multi-level-marketing business (MLM)? Try some of these lead generation tips.

Create a voicemail script that invites people to your website to get a free information packet and gift when they sign up online. And include this phone number on your marketing materials and other communications. Update it regularly with seasonal and other promotions. Have fun!

Join lead exchange groups like Business Exchange International and trade your business card with others.

Sell your product on a barter. Barter exchanges work on a credit system. You move some product, and possibly get referrals and in exchange you get credits that you can use for advertising, voice mail, internet and many other services.

Host or participate in events. Check into ad swaps, setting up a leads generating fish bowl drawing, teaching a workshop, being a speaker (with handouts and business cards for the audience) and other opportunities. Even if the event is not yours, you could check into running one of your own to coincide with it either beforehand, during a lunch or dinner break, or afterwards and then package tickets for both events together.

Fundraisers are great opportunities for public awareness, to give back to the community and to generate leads. Donate a product or service to a non-profit and host a drawing that gives it away as a prize. Then before the event, announce this news to both online and offline media, and include your contact information with website.

Check out how promotional advertising specialties can help you generate leads and order some items that are within your budget: pens and pencils with your logo and URL, ball caps, notepads, magnets, calendars and more.

Create your own audio and video clips with Camtasia and Microsoft PowerPoint slides to teach others about your products and services. Before people can view and listen to them, have them sign up and give you their contact information for follow up.

Test classifieds ads in those inexpensive Suburban Newspapers and penny newspapers like the Thrifty Nickel. Offer your free audio or video clips, ebook, report or guide in exchange for their contact info for follow up.

Submit articles and press releases regularly to online article databases, PRWeb.com and offline media.

Hire sales and marketing help. Head to online bidding sites like Elance.com or offline companies like Adecco (at Adecco.com).

Outsource some work so you’re not doing it all. Get help with publicity, article writing, website development, database management, customer service, help desk and more. Place a small Help Wanted ad in your local newspaper, check online for outsourcing companies and get recommendations form fellow business people.

Put some tips into practice. And go get some more leads!

The New Network Marketing That Is Taking The Business World By Storm

Are You Sharing In The Wealth?

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Holly Beitel and I am a CPA and Business consultant who has studied network marketing as a Business model. That is truly what network marketing is: a business model. A highly effective and efficient business model!

Network Marketing is a method of moving products and services from the manufacturer to the end consumer through the most powerful method of advertisement ever employed: word of mouth advertising.

If you are familiar with the difference between pyramid schemes and true network marketing, then you know that pyramid schemes have been illegal for many years. You are probably also familiar with the practices of some of the giants in Network Marketing over the last 20 years. Let’s see. You have visions of garages full of product, three-way calling, the three-foot rule, etc. All of these techniques have proved ineffective for 98% of network marketers. These dismal results are not a fault of the model itself. It is a result of the techniques used to employ it.

I’d like to spend a little time explaining the fundamentals of Network Marketing, and reveal why it is NOW creating more millionaires than any other industry.

Look at the traditional model of distribution. Did you know that a can of soda costs about 10 cents to manufacture? However, by the time it is dispensed from a vending machine it costs the consumer $1. Why is that? Well, you have to pay for manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, advertising, stocking, etc. The overhead costs are crushing.

The distribution chain in Network Marketing is manufacturer to end consumer. Done. The money that was wasted in the traditional model now goes to two very valuable places. The first is to YOU the distributor, and the second is to product R&D and technology! This ensures that the products and services are cutting-edge, and those doing the work are getting paid generously.

Don’t let anyone get away with the objection that they just don’t agree with the “Network Marketing thing.” Next time ask them what it is they don’t agree with: bringing products and services to the marketplace in the most efficient way possible, moving up in a company because you work the hardest and help the most people or allowing everyone an equal opportunity to achieve freedom of time and financial independence? Where else can you find a vehicle that offers you the opportunity to be one in the 1% who retires wealthy in this country?

Success Magazine says that Network Marketing is the, “Most powerful way to reach the consumer.” There are Fortune 500 companies who are currently using this distribution method to get some or all of their products to marketplace. Big names like: Gillette, Colgate-Palmolive, Sharp, Texas Instruments, Microsoft, IBM and Coca-Cola to name a few. We haven’t begun to see the real potential of Network Marketing.

NOW, let me ask you, “Are YOU accumulating the wealth that this business model generously offers?” I know for a fact that 9 out of 10 of you reading this article are not! Why? Mainly because the biggest misconception about the network marketing industry is that the key to making it work is simply doing things like “get 3 who will get 3″ That misconception will keep you in your day job forever. You will be left in the wake of this new wave surrounded by a calamity of fliers, promotional materials and business cards.

The key to success in Network Marketing is less tangible. It begins with understanding people, the psychology of consumer wants/needs/desires, creating the urgency to buy and most importantly, figuring out you. You might have the perfect product and the most lucrative compensation plan around. However, if you don’t have the perfect message, the message that results in the CONSUMPTION of your product or service no one earns anything.

The fact is only a very small percentage of marketers can do these things without training, and they all attended the “school of hard knocks” learning the hard way. I don’t mean training on how to do three-way calling or to explain the compensation plan. I mean training on how to reach the very consumers who have a want, need or desire for your particular product or service. Explanation of how to identify, isolate and overcome their “perceived” objections. And, how to create the urgency to buy and ultimately to consume the very thing they truly need or desire.

The truth is that the things you need to do are very simple. The reason 9 out of 10 of you reading this aren’t doing them is because to figure it all out on your own is virtually impossible. By the time you can get enough scars and personal experience to figure some of these things out, you have long since become discouraged and run out of financial resources.

Most likely, you are receiving some form of “training” from your upline. The problem is that they still have to focus on continuing to build their own organization as well, and most of the time they are only a few steps ahead of you in the game.

Now that the general business community is acknowledging and implementing the model of Network Marketing, we are seeing smarter, more effective education and training in the industry. The best training, of course, is personalized, interactive training done by those who have tried, tested and perfected the skills and techniques necessary for success in Network Marketing.

I highly encourage those of you who want to ride the wave and momentum that Network Marketing is generating to find and invest in such training. Yes, I said invest. Find a resource that has walked the “trail of tears” already. Find someone who has the experience to help you shrink your learning curve, and someone who has recreated their success over and over in multiple arenas. Your future in Network Marketing hangs in the balance.

Network Marketing is an ingenious business model. One that works without fail when properly approached and implemented! You are already in the water. Equip yourself to “ride the wave” to success in your business.

The Six ‘success’ Myths of Network Marketing

Myth 1# Just call enough people and you will find success in this industry

If you’ve been in the business opportunity world for any length of time I’m sure you’ve heard this false claim. It states it’s a numbers game and if you just contact enough people you will be successful. In essence, this statement is true, but there is a HUGE misnomer in it. Let me explain, true if you contact enough people you will find success, but after buying leads and calling well over 500 people and not having one person join my business it’s not as easy as it sounds. First you have to have the money to buy all those leads. Most people and me included when I was going through the school of hard knocks don’t have this type of money to put out before finding any initial success. You see it’s NOT just about calling people it’s about being GOOD at calling people. I wasn’t good and I didn’t have the funds to continue my hard knock education to find a glimmer of hope. Calling leads is NOT as duplicable as THEY say. What is duplicable is having a direct marketing system to do the selling for you. That’s what works online.

Myth 2# You can create financial success with little or no money.

This is one of my personal favorites. We have all been in the scenario where we have been to a ra ra meeting and those at the front telling there stories are asked how did you get so many sales or how did you recruit so many people the answer will almost certainly be: ‘I just talked to everyone consistently, I was unemployed when I started this business’ Whatever. If it was that simple we all would have made it long time ago right.

Myth 3# You cannot build a network marketing business using the internet

It’s usually the same people who say this are the same people who claim they have built a business with little or no money. Think about it, the internet is an excellent way of doing business. Millions upon millions are surfing the net on a daily basis you can put yourself in front of these people passively.

When I began using the internet as my marketing medium for my business I requested the advice of others that have been successful in promoting a residual income producing business. I asked them if it was possible to create a huge income in the business using the internet. My question was met with overwhelming amounts of friction. I was told that it simply couldn’t be done. I was told that it was not personal enough of a medium for this business medium to be used effectively in the way that I was referring. I couldn’t understand why.

The internet is a personal medium we are have email addresses. Which is great for building personal relationships and my results have proved it.

Myth #4: Buying and Calling Leads Is The Only Way To REALLY Grow A

Network Marketing Organization

The first thing that happens generally when you join a network marketing business is youask you sponsor how to get your business growing and they inevitable answer by saying head over to X lead company get yourself some leads on monthly autoship and call them. You follow there advice and you do it. You Buy 500 leads a month for $200 a month and you start calling. You’re met with people that have no idea why you are contacting them and most of them aren’t happy about it either. You put up with it because that’s what you are taught to do from your sponsor and because that’s the way they say it works. Five months and $1000 down the road you’ve called your fair share of people and you wonder why it’s not working. Then you ask how is duplicable on a high level? The answer is it’s NOT! The truth is buying leads can and does work for some, but it’s not the only or even the best way to grow your business. You only want to speak with people that are interested in YOUR business and when you buy generic leads that’s not what you get. Buying leads is NOT the only way to grow your MLM and it’s by far NOT the

easiest way.

Myth #5: Just Set IT And Forget It

When you’re first introduced to leveraged residual income producing businesses the first thought that enters your mind is if I just get a couple people and they just get a couple people maybe this thing will work and maybe you’ll be able to just sit back and watch it all happen as you income continues to grow. That’s NOT how it works. Your recruiting process is a constant process as distributors will come and go.

Myth #6 To succeed in Network Marketing all you have to do is recruit

This is what I call an underground myth. Simply because all network marketers have thought this unconsciously at some point in their network marketing career but would not admit it. Now if you want that true residual income it is far easier to concentrate on retailing the products or service and then after a while encourage the product users to become distributors. Think about it. The most successful networkers are those that have an emotional attachment with the products. So if you have a customer that has really benefited from the products then they will have no trouble promoting the products because they have a strong story rather than those ‘opportunity seekers’ who will drop out once they realise they don’t really care about the products.

The 2 Things Necessary to Build your MLM Business

When you think about it, getting people to join your

MLM program has to do with just 2 things

1. Exposure

2. Sales

Let’s keep this simple.

Your goal in Network Marketing is NOT to make sure that you 500 bottles of wonder juice sitting in your garage. Your goal is to get other people in your downline. The more people in your downline the more money you make. It’s as simple as that.

So…

The question now becomes:

“How do we get people in our downline?”

The answer comes down to doing 2 things

Part 1

Expose your business to as many people as possible.

Generally speaking (if we use the 80/20 rule), if you expose your business to 100 people then maybe 20 will express interest in your opportunity.

Part 2

Take the 20 who have expressed interest and then make a sales presentation to them. If we’re using the 80/20 rule again then 4 of them will actually join your business.

It goes without saying that now those four who just joined your business must now do the process that you just did.

So riddle me this batman…

How do we automate this process?

There are many ways to Expose your business:

1. In home meetings

2. Talking to friends and family

3. Placing classified ads

4. Handing our CD’s or DVD’s to strangers on the street

But are any of these automated?

Likewise…there are many ways to “sell” someone on your business.

1. Take them to a live conference call

2. Make a personal sales presentation

3. 3-way them to your upline

But are any of these automated?

The reason I’m talking about automation is because as the title of this article is: “Expose, Sell, and Repeat the Process”

But if the process is neither simple nor easy then it’s not going to be very repeatable.

It comes down to asking yourself the right questions.

The question we should be asking ourselves is:

“How do we make the processes of exposure and sales automated so that we can make the duplication process as simple/easy as possible for people to accomplish?”

As I’ve stated in other articles I’ve written, Ease and Simplicity are two of the keys to success. Unfortunately, the higher ups in most MLM Companies don’t seem to understand this little concept.

If they did, maybe the industry wouldn’t have a 97% failure rate.

Kiiera VIV Scam or Legitimate mlm opportunity?

Is Kiiera and VIV product a Scam or legitimate mlm opportunity? Truth be told Kiiera is a probably a fantastic product, but with that being said I did not join Kiiera. In this crazy business of network marketing I always look for a unique product that has mass appeal.

I do not believe that Kiiera and the VIV product is a scam, in fact I have had the product several times and I must admit that it is a wonderful product although it is a bit over priced.

The reason I say that Kiiera and the VIV product it simply does not have mass appeal is because not everyone drinks these super juices, I know several people that are network marketers and they would not touch it with a ten foot pole. Here is the problem in my opinion and again this is just my option

The Owner of Kiiera is Peter Spiegel, owner of Sylmark, a $200 million dollar direct response production and marketing company, has been on a quest. A quest to bring a high quality, all natural products to market that could impact the lives of millions. A long time dream has now been realized in the creation of Viv created by Kiiera, a daughter company of Sylmark.
When ever I Review an mlm network marketing company I always ask my self this question. Does the product have mass appeal? And the answer is no. Again let me state that I do not believe that Kiiera and the VIV drink is a scam, if it where Im sure they would have been shut down by now, Kiiera and the VIV product is a fine company with an very great tasting product I just chose not to become a distributor because I believe that the product does not appeal to everyone.
